I want to like Old Trade. The location has potential, and the idea of a brewery and cidery together is interesting. But the service was the worst I encountered in Culpeper, hands down. I waited at the bar while two employees chatted past me, and when I finally got a cider, it tasted like nothing. Flat, sweet, boring. The place was empty, which should have been a clue. The staff seemed annoyed that I existed. I finished my glass out of stubbornness, then left. Not worth the drive, especially when there are a dozen other places in the area that actually want your business. I won't be back.
